Have you heard of the “dog days“? It is the season when heat is at its top in certain cities, such as Cancun. Can you imagine having to deal with really high temperatures from the moment you land until you get to your destination? Well, you don’t have to. It’s a way better idea landing at Cancun Airport to some cold drinks than waiting until getting to your lodging place to cool the thirst. In this post, we explain how to achieve it.
Book your service through the engine
For your comfortability, we have created a complete and agile booking engine through which you can book the transportation service of your choice, either for the next few days or with enough anticipation time. In case we have availability for that specific date, your reservation will be processed.
Select your destination place
First thing you’d have to do is to select your destination (hotel / location) where you’re getting to. We do not just provide transportation to the locations added to our list. If your destination happens to be in any of our areas of service, you can select the area option and send the coordinates or link to the exact location via comment box. For instance, if your destination is in Tulum but you can’t find it within our destinations list, set “Tulum – Area” as your destination and send details via comments.
Modality of service
This refers to the type of trip you wish to book, either one way, round trip; either from the airport or from one hotel to another (or to a location different from the airport). In case of a hotel-to-hotel service, the booking engine will request both origin and destination locations. Select the option that most suits your needs.
Number of passengers.
Next step is to select the exact number of passengers using the service, counting yourself in. Our units can fit up to 9 passengers in case of the regular vans, 6 passengers in case of luxury SUVs, 16 passengers in case of large vans, and up to 14 in case of limos. It is important to select the correct number of passengers in order for the service to flow smoothly, since our airport reps/drivers do verify the number of passengers they see with the number of passengers described in their data charts to make sure no one is being left behind. Children of all ages count as passengers as well, so it would be necessary to include them when counting passengers. Bear in mind we can provide car seats for children. The first it’s included, from then on are considered extras, therefore will have a slight additional charge.
Date of service
If your service is one way, the engine will ask for one date. If it’s a round trip, it will ask for both arrival and departure date. Make sure to have selected the correct date for your service in order for us to be waiting for you at your arrival. In case that, by mistake, you have completed your reservation with a wrong date, get in touch with us and we’ll gladly set the correct date of service. Consider we do require a minimum of at least 24 hours in advance from the correct date of service to make date or hour changes.
Type of service
The type of service refers to the vehicle which your service will be provided in. In some cases, the engine will recommend an option You can either continue with the recommendation, or change it for the one that actually meets your requirements. One thing to consider is that models can vary. We count on different vans, SUVs, large vans and limos models. However, all the amenities included in the service will be fully respected.
Flight info
In order for us to be able to track your flight status and be waiting for you upon arrival, the engine will ask for flight related data, both arrival and departure (in case of round trip services).
Client information
Next is to provide some of your information, such as name, e-mail, etc. This in order for our airport reps to be able to identify you and walk you to your vehicle and driver.
Payment method
Again, for your comfortability, we have implemented several payment methods to choose from. Select your best option. In case you select to pay in cash for a round trip service, the total amount will have to be covered upon your arrival to your destination. This to guarantee the use of your return-to-airport service.
Add some extras
Now, this is it. How would you like to cool the thirst? We count on several sodas, bottled water, juice, wine and beer options. Whichever drink you choose to add, it will be on a cooler (unless asked for the opposite) waiting to help you get refreshed upon arrival at the airport. Want some snacks as well? We also have many options for this. You can also add shopping-stops, sunscreen, antibacterial gel, among others. In this section is where you add the car seats as well, in case you require them.
Reservation policies
Last step is to read and accept the reservation policies, where we include statements related to the provided service.
All set up
Once the reservation is completed, you will be redirected to a payment request page in case you selected Paypal or Credit / Debit Card method. If you happen to have selected cash, a confirmation email will be sent to you specifying reservation number, which will help you for changes and clarification about your service.
See you on the other side
As private transportation services providers, an exit is assigned for us to be waiting for our clients with signs (and name upon request). In some cases, there can be some disorder at the airport depending on your arrival time. Anyhow, all our reps hold a sign and uniform with our logo quite visible for you to locate them right just walking out of the airport exit doors.
