First of all, what is ADO?
ADO stands for “Autobuses De Oriente”, the main local land transportation company from a location to another in the east of Mexico. These are buses with an average capacity for 40 passengers, which take off generally from a specific terminal node of the company and travel considerably long routes. Every airport terminal is stuffed with taxis and ground airport-hotel transportation companies. Because of the volatility of the taxi rates, is difficult to determine which would be the cheapest service. Something you have to keep in mind is that there are some taxi drivers (and individuals in general) which see tourist as an unlimited source of money. As some other countries have a better economic liberty index, therefore better incomes for the workers, there is still exist a small amount of people who’s tourism perspective is “people who come to spend their money no matter how”. With this in mind, they do not regulate their rates, turning the service in something unfair and without transparency.
