Visit Tulum!

Tulum is about an hour and a half from Cancun. Is an exceptional place to visit during your vacation. This destination’s most unique characteristic is the fact that it’s an archaeological site that’s on the beach! This means that after visiting the area, you can go and swim in the ocean with the blue turquoise waters, that’s something you cannot do anywhere else in Mexico!

Another great thing about visiting Tulum is the fact that you can easily add cenotes to your “things to do list”.

Immerse yourself in the jungle

Another great option for arcaeological sites to visit is Coba. This location is actually really close to Tulum, only 45 minutes further into the jungle. Just as Tulum, Coba is a “most”, since both of them bring such different and unique natual scenarios.

Climbing the Nohoch Mul building was forbidden since the pandemic started in 2020. Apart from the most famous Nohoch Mul Pyramid, you can stroll around Coba Group which is a series of structures near the entrance and includes a ball court.

There are also structures with visible remnants of paints, numerous stelae depicting political and ceremonial activities, and much more.
