The Tour to Chichen Itza starts when we pick you up at your hotel, the best timing for pick ups are in between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Be aware that the Archaeological Site opens at 9 and the ride to Chichen Itza from Cancun or Playa del Carmen is about 2:00 to 2:30 hrs., so a 7:00 am pick up is always better so you can get to Chichen Itza before the big crowds.

After spending a couple of hours at the Chichen Itza Mayan Archaeological Site, you’ll be able to go to a Cenote, probably the most know which is the Ik Kil Cenote, and there you can jump in the fresh waters of this Mayan Sinkholes to cool down from the heat of the Yucatan Peninsula.
At the Ik Kil Cenote you can also grab lunch, there is a buffet lunch for a very affordable price. You can choose to eat at the Ik Kil Cenote, or ir you prefer, you can go to Valladolid, the Colonial Town, which is right next door.
